To anyone who is on the fence about Windows 7

Get it. I’ve only had it for one day now, but I love it. And I’m reading online that all the long term tests are looking pretty good in terms of performance. Everything is quick and snappy, there is no lag or delay in running any programs, and the way that windows now manages separate windows is arguably more solid that window management in mac os x (yes, i just said that, and i mean it).

However, snow leopard in my opinion still trumps windows 7, but it’s not realistic to tell programmers and people bound to windows 7 because of the cheap cost or because of windows only programs that they need mac os x, because they dont. But they do need windows 7.

Not bad microsoft, but dont worry, I still hate you (with the version i didnt pay for)

Where the Wild Things Are is seriously weird, awesome

Before you keep reading, you must know that I absolutely love this movie.

In terms of a kids movie though, this might be considered a complete failure. I, however, don’t really know whether it would be considered a good kids movie or not. It has some seriously dramatic and intense moments between the characters, and in some cases you can really feel the joy, and really feel the hate too. Not too mention that some scenes are just really out of line for what you would expect a kids movie to be like. Looking at it from a different perspective though, I really respect Spike on this one though. I don’t know what your average kid will say about it, but it really feels like he is trying to allow kids to deal with these strong emotions and somewhat violent scenes in a movie like this.

Now for all others, this movie is a must see. It’s seriously weird in such a good way. The cinematography is a little bit more shaky than i prefer, but still much better than your average hollywood film. The most surprising thing about the movie is the ending (i wont spoil or suggest anything). I’m not sure whether younger folk will get it because it’s a very “slice of life” ending. That said, I loved it.
